HVAC Diagnosis
A good diagnosis protects you from paying for the wrong repair. We troubleshoot noises, comfort problems, error codes, startup failures, airflow issues, and equipment faults, then explain the repair and replacement options that actually fit the condition of the system.
What we diagnose
We start with the symptoms, then verify what the equipment is actually doing. That may include electrical checks, refrigerant or combustion measurements, airflow testing, thermostat and control review, drain inspection, and a look at maintenance history.
- No heat, no cooling, or intermittent operation
- Unusual noises, short cycling, weak airflow, or uneven temperatures
- Thermostat, control board, safety switch, or communication faults
- Furnace, AC, heat pump, mini-split, humidifier, and IAQ equipment issues
Why we do our own diagnosis
If another company already diagnosed the issue, we will listen and review any notes or photos you have. We still need to do our own diagnosis before recommending work because another diagnosis could be incorrect, incomplete, or missing the root cause.
Our goal is to confirm the failure, understand what caused it, and avoid selling a repair or replacement that does not solve the problem.
What happens after diagnosis
Once we diagnose the issue, we explain what we found and recommend realistic repair or replacement options. We do not usually recommend replacement unless parts are hard to get because of system age, repair cost is difficult to justify, or there are safety and reliability concerns that make continued repair a poor plan.
Best when parts are available, the system has useful life left, and the repair cost makes sense.
Considered when age, parts availability, safety, or reliability makes repair a weak investment.

HVAC Diagnosis FAQ
Where can I see the current diagnosis rate?
Use the Book Online button to see the current diagnosis rate and available appointment windows. Rates can change, so the booking flow is the best source for current pricing.
Do you accept another company's diagnosis?
We will review what another company told you, but we still need to perform our own diagnosis before recommending repair or replacement. Other companies can be incorrect, incomplete, or working from different assumptions.
Will you recommend repair or replacement?
After we diagnose the issue, we explain repair and replacement options when both are realistic. We do not usually recommend replacement unless parts are hard to get because of system age, the repair cost is difficult to justify, or there are safety or reliability concerns.
What should I have ready before the visit?
Have the equipment model, thermostat information, error codes, maintenance history, photos or videos, and any previous diagnosis notes ready if possible.
